5 minute DIY: wine cork hanger / organizer

It’s crunch time for the holiday season… So, I’m digging around in my craft stash to see what I can whip up for bonus gifts for a few family members…

Wine corks, rulers, glue… oh my!

I have a few of these organizers around my home and I LOVE them. I put pictures, notes to the hubs and other random things on it. VERY USEFUL.

For this project today I used E6000 glue, only because I’m in a hurry…. but you could use hot glue or super glue.

I grabbed these “rulers” from the sale bin at Michaels a few months back – 25 cents each. Plus, they had the hole already cut in the top. And, well…. yep, I like wine. So, I have a few wine corks stashed away. 😉

All you do is glue them on the ruler! I also put a ribbon on the top and a few thumb tacks.

To make my corks go further, and to give it a different look, I also cut the corks into small discs and glued it on the ruler that way. Either way works…

Please tell me you have this many corks at your house… I swear, it’s taken me at least a year to get this many!
