We are trying to eat healthy at our house, so I was looking for something sweet to put on the grill after grilling up chicken and veggies for dinner tonight. My DIY grilled peaches concoction was ah-mazing (if I do say so myself), so I wanted to share it with you! You have to try it!
mexican vanilla (or regular vanilla)
Directions: Carve the pits out of the peaches and cut the peaches into pieces. Arrange on foil skin side down. Drizzle generously with honey. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of brown sugar over the peaches and add cinnamon over the top (I did this by sight, just to cover the peaches). Add a few drops of mexican vanilla. (or regular vanilla will work too!) Place foil on a hot grill for 10 minutes with the lid down on the grill. We ate our warm peaches over vanilla ice cream!!
As we go about life grilling and enjoying time with our family and friends, I hope you take time out on this Memorial Day weekend to remember those who have given their lives so we can have these freedoms. We also remember those who have served our country and who are serving now. Thank you for everything you do.
