If your kids are anything like mine, they don’t always want to eat their veggies. I was recently re-introduced to an old party favorite – ranch veggie pizza! It’s so light and delicious and the perfect way to sneak all kinds of veggies into your child’s diet. I tried a semi-healthy version and wanted to share it!
Veggie Ranch Pizza
store-bought wheat pizza dough (We like the Target brand, for $1.49)
1 cup of greek yogurt
1/4 cup of cream cheese
ranch dip packet mix
1 cup of broccoli, 1 cup of carrots, 1 cup of cauliflower, 1/2 cup of carrots, (and really any other veggie you would like!)
Directions: mix up the ranch dip using the greek yogurt and cream cheese. Spread the cream cheese on the pizza dough like you would traditional pizza sauce. Chop up the veggies and put it all over the pizza. (The finer you chop up the veggies the less likely the kids are to pick it off). You can also sprinkle a little cheese on top if you would like.
There you have it! This is great served at baby showers, parties, by the pool or even for dinner!
