Simple project – Turn old shirts into wall art!

I’m all for donating old clothes, but sometimes the sentimental items are tough to let go of. Especially since a lot of my baby and toddler clothes have been used by both of my girls! I have memories of my girls crawling around in certain t-shirts or precious pictures with it on. What to do? Store it in a box forever? Not my style. (See:heirlooms on display post)

I’m sure I found this on pinterest or some other crafty blog, so I thought I’d try it out on my own. It’s simple. Wrap old shirts around a canvas and hang it on the wall.

You’ll need : shirts, staple gun and a canvas.

All you do is wrap the clothes around the canvas and staple it on the back to secure it.

For now, I’m arranging the canvas art like this in my daughter’s bedroom, but eventually I’d like to have a lot more all over the wall!

I like it. What do you think?
